Mission Statement:
The mission of our school is to provide a quality Christian education to children in the Winchester area. We desire all children to know God’s love. Through leadership development, academic excellence, and a Christian foundation, our students will reach their highest potential.

Vision Statement:
Our school has a vision of growing as a leading Christian school in the Winchester area. Our intent is to follow God’s direction and grow our program in a way that glorifies God. Our goal is to add upper level grades to better serve all the children within our community.

Admission Policy:
Openings and current program information is given to all parents through the monthly newsletter. Contact the Director of Admissions for information regarding the admission process. All registration information for the following school year will be distributed in January of each school year. Children currently enrolled in our preschool will have first priority for placement into the elementary school.

Statement of Faith:
• We believe in God as Creator and Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior
• We are open to and accepting of all denominations in the Christian faith, even as we maintain a non-denominational position.
• We seek to teach core Christian beliefs and values, yet we do not teach doctrine or dogma specific to any one Christian denomination.
• We hold in common with all Christians the belief in salvation in and through Jesus Christ.
• We share the Christian belief that Scripture is authoritative in matters of faith and conduct. Through the Bible we come to know God and to experience a call to live a holy life in relationship with a holy God.
• We share the common Christian understanding of sanctification: that God, presently at work in and through us by the Holy Spirit, renews our fallen nature, enabling and empowering us to do good, and to walk according to God’s command.

Our Organization Teaches:
• The Holy Trinity: One God in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
• God as Creator and Father of all humankind. All children are important. We believe each child to be created and loved by God.
• Jesus Christ is the Son of God and rose from the grave, reigning in power. We believe in the One Body of Christ, with its many forms over the centuries and around the globe.
• The Holy Spirit is God’s presence in the human heart, helping us to become God’s children

Program Structure:
• Degreed and/or experienced teachers.
• Resource specialists who provide foreign language instruction (elementary/middle//high levels), music classes (all levels), art instruction (elementary/middle/high level) and physical education (elementary/middle/high level).
• Conferences provided for all parents to discuss their child’s progress.
• “Room Parent” volunteers.
• Weekly communication to parents from their child’s teacher to keep them abreast of their child’s progress.
• Assessment of the students at the various times during the year.
• A web page and email access to staff.
• Non-denominational Christian Education and chapel.
Children are placed in age-appropriate classes. Our low teacher to student ratios provide the children with individual attention and small group experiences.

Parent Communication:
Parents are provided weekly communication from their child’s teacher. The following ways are used to communicate with parents:
• Monthly school-wide newsletter
• Weekly classroom information
• Daily notes as needed
• Parent conferences
• Email notices- We require all parents to have an email account for communication. This promotes technology and helps for a fast and economical form of communication. Please keep your email address up-to-date at all times.
