Deb earned a Bachelor's Degree in Middle School Education with endorsements in Math and Science from Radford University. She earned her Master's Degree in Gifted Education and is also trained to teach children with learning disabilities, Attention Deficit Disorder, Attention Deficit and Hyperactive Disorder and emotionally disturbed. She began her teaching career at James Wood Middle School, where she became a liaison between teachers and administrators. She also assisted in developing math curriculum guides for teachers and developed an after-school tutorial program. After having twins in 1997, Deb became a Gifted and Talented Resource Teacher for 45 students. In 2000, she co-founded Enrichment Services, Inc. with her friend and colleague, Cherie Cintron.
Tina pursued her degree in Elementary Education at Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida where she met her husband, a native of Winchester. She taught three and four year olds at Rainbow Express Preschool in Winchester for five years. During the time her own two children were in elementary school she volunteered in class, substitute taught, and tutored children at all age levels from preschoolers through the sixth grade.
Tina joined Enrichment Services in 2001 as a 3-year-old teacher the first year the preschool opened. She was instrumental in developing the new school’s curriculum. She was appointed Lead Teacher in 2003 and promoted to Assistant Preschool Director in 2004. She also helped the preschool develop a Summer Fun School Program. She accepted the position as Preschool Administrator for the fall of 2005 and coordinated the task of moving the school to its brand new facility on Cameron Street.
Tina believes working with young children is a ministry and considers it a blessing to hold a position that allows her to share God’s love and grace on a daily basis with students, parents and staff.
