At the preschool, children are our present and our future. We take pride in being a private, non-denominational Christian school that is academically advanced.

Our Academy was developed for enthusiastic learners from 2 1/2 to 5 years of age. This program places a distinct value on excellent education without compromising structure. Winchester Academy also recognizes the importance of offering a class that is a wonderful transition between Pre-K and Elementary.  Our K-4 class was created to provide developmentally appropriate curriculum for students who would benefit from another academic transitional year or for older 4s (birthdate before Dec. 30th) who just miss the cut off for Kindergarten. These students would remain in a nurturing environment while being offered the highest level for preschool.  There will be a greater emphasis on reading and math while having the benefit of some of the appropriate Kindergarten curriculum, which will further prepare your child for elementary school.

The preschool program is academic, while encouraging the need for play and exercise. We offer state-of-the-art curriculum with Musikgarten, art appreciation, foreign language (Spanish), hands-on science, computers, reading, writing and math. Children will also be exposed to non-denominational Christian education on a weekly basis.

We believe all children should be exposed to as many learning opportunities as possible. Developing positive self-esteem, critical thinking and problem-solving will better prepare them for a lifetime of learning.
